Muslims to celebrate Aidiladha on Nov 27
KUALA LUMPUR: Muslims in Malaysia will celebrate Aidiladha on Nov 27, the Keeper of the Rulers’ Seal Engku Tan Sri Ibrahim Engku Ngah announced.
“Following the order of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, with the consent of the Malay Rulers, it is hereby declared that the first day of Zulhijjah, 1430 Hijrah, falls on Nov 18, 2009.
“As such, Aidiladha (10 Zulhijjah) for the whole of Malaysia has been set for Friday, Nov 27, 2009,” he said in a statement issued by the Information Department here yesterday. — Bernama
